Iain has served in senior positions at several global investment banks and a UK pension administrator where he formulated and executed strategic initiatives. Having operated as CFO and board member for much of his career, delivery of strategic business transformation has been central to his ethos.
His roles at James Hay encompassed both the CFO and CCO responsibilities, held SMR responsibilities and a board member of four regulated legal entities. In addition, Iain chaired numerous committees.
As a Senior Advisor to PWC in their capacity as administrators of Lehman Brothers, Iain gained invaluable restructuring, insolvency and negotiating experience - from switching the lights back on to formulating complex counterparty negotiation strategy ensuring the recovery of assets.
Iain has experience of building operations and leading teams in various countries including the UK, India, Brazil, Switzerland and Italy. Of note, Iain as a member of the India executive committee, was responsible for the Lehman India offshoring strategy and execution for the firm and in particular building global finance capability, delivering material savings and increased capacity. He also led the set up of the Lehman Brazil Bank, successfully delivering the project within an extremely aggressive timeline.
